Our pantry has unique donation needs because our concept is so different from other organizations. It is easy to know what items are needed because the menu remains constant. The list below shows all items we stock with the asterisks indicating the most immediate needs.

Our recipes call for specific quantities and types of chicken and frozen vegetables. These items make up the vast majority of our expenses and are most easily purchased in bulk. We carefully shop with your cash donations to ensure they are used to their fullest potential! At our current rate, we are helping about 375 individuals from 100 families each month at a cost of about $870 per month.

We rely on our volunteers for everything! They are the most wonderful group of people and we would love to have you be one of them! There are several different opportunities for all skill levels. Packing, prepping, and organizing all happen before Distribution Day. And then...the real FUN happens on the fourth Friday when our guests come!

We also need to thank The Gibbs Center for Independence for partnering with us. Their residents gain job and life skills by packing and portioning and we get to cut our prep needs in at least half!
